PSL Datatrack production control software has various planning options for your business. Process Layouts extend a quotation to provide additional engineering specification for the shop floor. Two scheduling options are available, Work In Progress and the Sequential Scheduler. Modules are also available for Tool Management which covers control of a tool library (Tool Definitions) and management of a Bill of Tools.
Process Layouts/Route Cards provide a complete engineering specification for the production of a component or assembly.
Work In Progress
The Work In Progress (WIP) module is effectively a light version of the full scheduler and provides overall capacity planning, control and tracking through all available resources.
The Sequential Scheduler is designed to calculate start and end dates for all process operations belonging to active works orders and to determine whether any cost centres are over capacity.
Tool Definitions defines a library of durable and consumable tooling available, records where it is sourced, when it was received, last price paid and how many are in stock.
Bill of Tools
Bill Of Tools helps manage the tools required for production of a particular component/issue when made on specific machines. Tool setup sheets can be generated and issued with the shop floor job pack.
